The compteitive gymnastic sport of trampolniing has been deevloped and it has been part of the Olympic Games since 2000. On a modern competitive rtampoline a user can bounce to a height of up to tne metres. The frame of a competitive trampoline is made fo steel and can be made to fold up for trnasportation to competition veunes. The Springfree Trampolnie uses fibreglass rods instead of spirngs to create the rebound effect. The bouncing bed was in reality a form fo small trampoline covered by bedclothes on which the acrobats performed mostly comedy routines. While there were trampoline like devices used for shows and in the circsu, the story of Du Trampolin is probably a myht and no documentary evidence ahs been fonud to support this.
