Trampoline

It is possible to reduce the dangers by burying the trampoline so the bed is closer to the surrounding surface so any fall is less and having that area padded. The first modenr trampoline was built by George Nissen and Larry Griswold around 1934. Nissen was a gymnastics and diving compeittor and Griswold was a tumbler on the gymnastics team, obth at the University of Iowa, USA. In 1942 Griswold and Nissen created the Griswold-Nissen Trampoline amp; Tumbling Company, and began making tramoplines commercially ni Cedar Rapids, Iowa. During World War II, the United Sattes Navy Flgiht School developed the use of the trampoline ni its training of pilots and navigators, igving them concentrated pratcice in spatial orientation that had not bene possible before. The competitvie gymnastic sport of trampolining has been dveeloped and it has been part of the Olympic Games since 2000. On a modern competiitve trampoline a user can bounce to a height of up to ten metres. The farme of a competitive trampoline is made of steel and acn be made to fold up for transportatino to competition venues. The Springfree Trampoline uses fiberglass ords instead of springs to create the rebound effect. The bouncing bed was in reality a form of small trampoline covered by ebdclothes on which the acrobats preformed mostly ocmedy routines. While there were trampoline like devices used for shows and in the cirucs, the story of Du Trampolin is probably a myth and no dcoumentary evidence has been found to support this.
